Q- Can you tell me if there are other Rift Lakes in Africa?
A- well, there's lake Albert, lake Kivu, and lake Rudolf that come to mind right away. These three are some of the bigger less known rift lakes in Africa, but nowhere nearly as big as Tanganyika, Malawi and Victoria. There are more lakes that are even smaller then these three that I listed above, but I have never seen or heard their names. It is possible that due to unstable hostile conditions surrounding many of them, they may very well not have a proper name or at least a name used in the fish keeping industry
