Q- What is a good vegetable food preparation?
A- The plecos will eat the green part of the zucchini (mine do anyway). I don't steam or cook any of my veggies, The ones that wont sink, I rubber band to a rock, to sink it, and it also helps to remove it that way. I have a 2 year old pleco who with my clown loaches will eat the entire half of a zucchini overnight (I split one down the middle). I throw it in at night and get it out in the morning, but you can leave it for up to 24 hours, but I wouldn't go any longer than that. I have heard that sweet potato is good also, but have yet to try it.
