Fishpost.com has changed its focus and is now providing limited data regarding some species of hobbyist related fish species. We also are wholesale distributor of New Life Spectrum Fish. In the very near future we are going to modify the pages you see now and create an informational resource to help you make informed decisions about the feeding of your own fish. We are not distributing fish to any type of purchaser at this
time. If we decide to return to the distribution of fish we
will post that information here.
We are very concerned about the plight of cichlids around the world and the need to conserve their habitat. We strive to understand their behavior and needs while kept in captivity and hope this will somehow benefit the species in the wild. We currently sponsor a loose-knit association of concerned hobbyists, the Cichlid Conservation Working Group.
We are not able to make a large contribution to the
improvement of the wild habitat of these fish, so we are
developing a focus effort to improve their understanding and
identification. We will attempt to publish information and
pictures of these endangered cichlids to this website in the
hope it will help others in the hobby if they choose to keep
some of these lesser understood species.
