  • Vertical elongate spots can be combined into lines
  • Predorsal region only slightly curved
  • No ectopterygoid teeth were found in samples
  • slightly concave dorsal to the eyes and convex to the dorsal fin region

General Information:

Serrasalmus Hastatus from Venezuela. This serrasalmus is rarely seen in the hobby and vrey little is known about the keeping of this fish. It can be assumed that it needs the same treatment as other serrasalmines in regard to food and tankmates.
