Research Information:

Further research and collection data needs to be conducted in the field with laboratory examinations as well as aquaria(ecology) documentation of habits and activity. Serrasalmus Rhombeus from Venezuela. Serrasalmus Rhombeus is quite an interesting species of piranha. From a purely amateur ichthyological viewpoint this piranha will require many months and years to properly describe what I feel is surely a complex of species. This will be an interesting endeavour to study this species.
